We partner with local organizations to host in-person grief support gatherings, which offer fellowship over a meal while listening to a brief reflection on the intersection of faith and grief. Participants are grouped into tables of four to six people, where a facilitator guides a discussion on topics related to grieving while sharing experiences and support.

In the splendor of nature and sacred places, our grief retreats explore stories that focus on grief, presentations on the nature and dynamics of grief, small group discussions, and spiritual practices designed to promote comfort. A Faith & Grief weekend retreat provides you time and a safe space to process your grief in a community with others.
A limited number of scholarships are available for these retreats. Contact Shelley Craig, Program Director, for interest: shelley@faithandgrief.org. We also offer the retreat in a multi-session, in-person workshop.
